The figurine is very faithful to the comics, but in the real story Miss Grey is able to move in all directions, while here not.
In your window, the young “Jean” is condemned to launch a psychic attack by remaining stoic, standing, in the same position. (It’s a shame for all the artists who would have liked to use it to draw it).

Nice design and paint. Pretty good head sculpt but a second would have been nice. I love when a figure comes with an interesting accessory or add-on, and the Krakoa flower is a very cool addition.

It’s an essential character to have in the collection, unfortunately getting that skirt to work with dynamic poses is practically impossible. If you have a stand you can get her to do some decent hover poses, but tbh she can’t even eg her hand to her head properly.

This figure gets a lot of community hate, but it’s not that bad. I think the major complaint of mine is that she looks beautiful (the paint app on her face, hair and mask along with the head sculpt are great), but she can’t stand on her own. Between the heels on her feet and the constrictive skirt, you can’t get her to stand well (even with off-market feet peg stands). Also, when you move her torso/waist joint at certain (most) angles, you can literally see the inside of the figure, but that doesn’t bother me all that much because the darkness somewhat blends into her green outfit.

You know in issue 1 of House of X, when Xavier says to Jean “Welcome home, Jean. You’re safe here. We all are”. Yeah, that face should have been an alternate head.
