Finally, a worthy version of THE head of Hydra, and Captain America’s nemesis! Sporting the classic green jumpsuit not only represents one of his most famous designs, but it gives us a new buck to boot. The inclusion of multiple hands is perfect for bad guy gesturing and adds a lot more to displays and photos, while the Cosmic Cube, while not a new sculpt is just icing on the cake. An easy headswap with the Professor X body and you can recreate the classic Tales of Suspense cover. Perfect. Although a Luger would have been more appropriate, the addition of the Element Gun as a Hydra weapon is just another accessory we could have gotten without, but of course, the Red Skull could always use a weapon too! Overall a fine addition to a Captain America or Hydra display, this Red Skull could have been a perfect example of what exclusives should be, but to be released as part of a wave (meaning it’ll be cheaper and easier to find) is just another cherry on top.
