The House of X and Powers of X (ten) is one of the hottest X-Men titles to hit comic book shops for a long time.
Written by Jonathan Hickman, House of X and Powers of X is a 12-part series that re-imagines the X-Men mythos. You could say that House of X and Powers of X reboots the X-Men story but also stays loyal (in a way) to the original X-Men that we all know and love.
And of course, with any great story comes great Marvel Legends figures based on those characters.
This is our SPOILER FREE list of Marvel Legends that Hasbro should make based on the House of X and Powers of X series.
Possibly the most re-imagined member of the X-Men in this story, Professor X dawns a new mobile version of Cerebro built by Forge as he ditches the wheelchair for a black suit. This version of Professor X would make a great addition to the shelf.
This version of Magneto is based mostly on the Marvel NOW version and isn’t a drastic departure from recent versions except for a color change. This could possibly be a repaint of the Apocalypse wave Magneto however it would make a great addition to the first wave of the House of X figures.
Rasputin is one of the new mutants in the war against Nimrod. Without spoiling her story, We”ll just say that she’s great character in the House of X that needs to be captured in plastic Marvel Legends form.
As an operative of Orchis in the House of X story, Karima would be make a good figure from a character that we hasn’t debuted in the Marvel Legends line yet.
Another Cyclops? This version is similar to the Brood wave Cyclops however with a slightly different design and color scheme. It would also be a nice update to that figure. Besides, you can’t have too many figures of Cyclops especially when they’re priced high on the secondary market.
With haven’t seen Hope Summers since the Terrax wave. As a member of the 5 in the House of X story, this would make a great Marvel Legends update on a slightly different look from the Omega level mutant.
This version of Jean Grey is most likely not the most popular suit design especially with the recent release of the X-Men 3-pack Jean Grey. But for the collectors that want this design, it is a great reason to drop it in the line as a single figure. Besides, you just can’t have enough Jean Grey figures.
Moira has arguably the most important role in this X-Men story. Also, she’s never been in the Marvel Legends line before so this would be a perfect time to get her in the line. And being the 8th figure in this wave, she could be a perfect candidate for a Walgreen’s or Fan Channel exclusive.
Nimrod has been a highly anticipated figure for a long while. Now, being a main villain in Hickman’s run of the X-Men books, this would be a perfect time to give the Marvel Legends Community a Nimrod BAF.
