July 25, 2022 at 10:09 amSold! Missed the previous BAF release (unable to score Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Punk and Mysterio) so this is a must for me.
After receiving this figure over the weekend I have to say I’m very glad that my patience paid off as this is the Lizard figure I wanted. Didn’t have time to display but I can already tell this will be a fine addition.
Consumer warning: Walmart shipped this figure to me in plastic wrap so my card got a bit damaged.
Update 11/14/2022: I went to Walmart this past weekend and after scanning the Marvel Legends section to no avail. I decided to investigate the rest of the aisle. Low and behold, I found retro Lizard in DC section under a few figures on the shelf. Not sure if someone was trying to stash to grab later or whatever the case was but I grabbed it anyway. This isn’t the first time I found a Walmart exclusive in an out of place section…. moral of the story for Marvel Legends collectors is to dig a little deeper when on your collector missions…there’s always a chance that you’ll find what you’re looking for and/or something unexpected. Now I have two retro Lizards and the one I got from the store is MOC as opposed to the one I ordered which arrived slightly damaged due to the plastic wrapping. Happy hunting!
