10. Carnage

Although Carnage is a re-release of the 2014 Green Goblin Wave Carnage, this Carnage comes equipped with a crazed Cletus Cassidy head, extra hands and the Monster Venom head. The all white package design of the the Monster Venom wave also makes Carnage stand our among your other in-package Marvel Legends.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

Our favorite thing about this figure is how Carnage stands out in the all-white packaging of this wave.

09. Archangel

Archangel was originally released as a SDCC exclusive in the ever evasive X-Force box set with Wolverine and Psylocke. He was dressed in his black and silver. He was also released in the 2013 Hit Monkey wave with a bit more chrome paint scheme. This Archangel comes in his classic Jim Lee inspired pink and blue costume and is billed as a deluxe figure. He sports 3 heads, an extra grapple hand for the BAF Apocalypse and his amazing wings.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

This is the version of Archangel we’ve always wanted. His massive wings are perfect and he is the iconic Jim Lee style that we all love and want our X-Men figures to be.

08. Silver Surfer

In the past 19 years, there have been several iterations of the Silver Surfer in the Marvel Legends line. The most recent comes in at #8 of the best Marvel Legends of 2018 with the Walgreen’s exclusive version. Sporting two power effects, 4 extra hands and his trusty surfboard, Silver Surfer is a must-have for any Marvel Legends collector.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

This figure doesn’t disappoint with its metallic silver paint apps. Plus adding in the neon translucent green power effects makes this Surfer jump out at you while in your display.

07. Magik

Coming is at #7 on our list is Illyana Rasputins firts ideration in the Marvel Legends line. Armed with her Soul sword, several power effects and other accessories, Magik is a great modern comics representation of the New Mutants sorceress supreme.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

Hasbro knocked it out the park with the sculpt of Magik. She’s the smaller female ML body and comes with a lot of accessories for a Marvel Legend figure.

06. Doc Ock

Doc Ock or Doctor Octopus is an absolute legend in the Spider-man rouges gallery and this figure captures him perfectly. Armed with molded tentacles rather than the much request bendy wires, this classic version of Doc Ock is a must-have for anyone completing a Sinister Six Collection.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

This classic version of Doc Ock is such a great update to the previous Toy Biz version which was great is its own right.

05. Iron Man

Based on the modern Brian Micheal Bendis Invincible Iron Man comic run, this Iron Man is a brand-new sculpt complete with 2 extra hands, a comic Tony Stark head, blaster and blast effects. With all of the success of the MCU and the plentiful MCU Iron Man figures, its a breath of fresh air to get a new version of the fan favorite.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

From the helmet to the boots, the attention to detail with the armor makes this a must-have figure for any Iron Man fan.

04. Cable

Embodying the likeness of his creator Rob Liefield, this version of Cable comes equipped with 3 guns and a Sasquatch BAF piece. Cable has been in the line several times with Hasbro and Toy Biz however, this marks the first to be based on the art style of the 90’s Rob Liefield version.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

This classic look brings back the memories of the Cable that we know and love from the 90’s New Mutants, X-Force, X-Men and even the X-Men the Animated Series.

03. Storm

The 80’s style version of Storm is one of the most anticipated figures in the line and #3 on our list. She comes with 2 lighting effects and the torso of Apocalypse. This version of Storm is just a cool figure for true X-Men fans.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

Although this isn’t the iconic Jim Lee style, she is based on the suit that debuted in X-Men #173 in 1983. The mohawk version of Storm is just a perfect addition to our collection.

02. Mysterio

This isn’t an illusion. Mysterio comes in at #2 on the list. The classic Mysterio suit if just cool. He comes with 2 green effects that fit around his feet and a removable “fishbowl” that reveals either a white or green “illusion” head (depending on which variant you have). With Mysterio, we are getting closer to having that Sinister Six collection completed.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

The best thing about Mysterio is that he is just a well done figure based on the classic comic suit. He is a super solid figure.

01. Thing

And #1 on our list is Thing. There have been several versions of Thing released over the years however this is by far on one of the best figures ever produced in the Marvel Legends line. The attention to detail in the sculpt of Ben Grimm is amazing. He comes with two extra hands and an extra head and completes the Fantastic Four Walgreen’s exclusive team.

Our favorite thing about this figure:

The best thing about Thing is that Hasbro put in the extra work to make this figure so detailed and comic accurate. It’s just unfortunate that he’s a tough figure to get hold of.
